I’ve never been a fan of Psychologists, and the IQ test has it’s own faults, but I feel like Binet needs to be mentioned for that beautiful ‘stache.

Linus Pauling is different from most scientists in that his main attraction is his linguistic abilities. He had a way of explaining the most complicated concepts in a succinct and accurate way. Of course, two unshared Nobel prizes is a pretty big turn on, as well.

I have a complex relationship with Galois - my dad has the most epic man crush on him I have ever seen (he believes that if he hadn’t died in a duel at 20, he would have revolutionized the mathematical WORLD - but the fact that he died in a duel also has an amorous effect on any man). So, having grown up on the romanticized escapades of Galois in group theory and the permutations of polynomials, I have a deep respect for him.

At the same time, I realize that had Galois been alive today, I would not exist as my father would have no interest in procreation or women in general.
